Zarin Tasnim is currently working as a Research Consultant in the Climate Change and Disaster Management Division at the Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS). She is contributing to various impactful projects, such as Consultancy Services for the Hydro- Morphological Study for Dangabazar Bridge over the Shitalakshya River at Narshingdi, Mongla Bridge over the Mongla River at Bagerhat, Khaliajhuri Bridge over the Dhonu River at Netrokona, Bhushir Bandar Bridge over the Atrai River and Khanshama Zia Bridge over the Korotoa River at Dinajpur under Roads and Highways Department, Bangladesh, Consultancy Services for the Hydro - Morphological Study and EIA for Construction of Bridge at Batulia over the Dhaleswari under Roads and Highway Department, Bangladesh. Zarin previously completed an internship as a Research Associate at CEGIS and served as a research fellow at Housing and Building Research Institute (HBRI), Teaching Assistant at the Islamic University of Technology (IUT). Her undergraduate background in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with a major in Environmental Engineering from IUT, has equipped her with knowledge in engineering design, project management, and disaster resilience frameworks. She has engaged in research focused on sustainable development and environmental protection, making her a committed professional in this field.
