For two years, Mr. Hasan contributed to the fields of Water Resources, Hydrological Analysis, and Climate Change Adaptation. His expertise spans a range of areas, including hydrodynamic modelling, flood forecasting, and design of wet infrastructures. He has successfully contributed to projects focused on improving water supply systems and drainage networks, demonstrating a deep understanding of hydraulic management policies and vulnerability and feasibility assessments. His work with both national and international agencies highlights his ability to coordinate complex studies and implement effective solutions tailored to the unique challenges faced in different regions of Bangladesh.

He is working on Upazila Masterplan Project, particularly drainage and WASH planning under LGED. He contributed to feasibility studies of different components under BSCIC and DPHE. He worked with CWASA contributing to sewer network design and analysis. He contributed to rural piped water scheme development with UNICEF and DPHE. He was also involved in design and development of drainage system under DNCC and DSCC jurisdiction.

In these areana, he's been using different software such as SOBEK, Delft3D, SWMM, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, for hydrodynamic and hydraulic modeling and analysis. For representation of the outputs, he extensively use ArcGIS, AutoCAD 2D, Civil 3D software. For critical analysis he has been using Python, MATLAB, SPSS software to deal with large amount of data.
