Ms. Tasnim has joined the Climate Change and Disaster Management Division of CEGIS on April 21, 2021 as a Research Consultant. She has done her undergraduate thesis on “Flood Inundation Mapping of the Habiganj Sadar Upazilla using HEC-RAS 1D/2D Coupled Model”. She has used HEC-RAS version 5.0.7 to set up the 1D and 2D models of the study area in order to develop flood inundation maps in terms of flood depth and flood velocity. She has experience working on ArcMap and Microsoft Excel to calculate the erosion and accretion on the banks of the Teesta River before and after the construction of the Teesta Barrage.
