Mr. Ahmed has been working in CEGIS for 10 years under the Water Resources and Management Division. He has experience in water balance modeling for the entire Eastern Nile basin, GBM (Ganges-Brahmaputra and Meghna) basin, Karnafuli river basin, Mahananda river basin and other areas of Bangladesh using SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool). He also has experience in hydrodynamic modeling for the Gopalganj area using SOBEK. He has strong analytical capability and has received training on SWAT, SOBEK and Delft 3D. He has also experience in ArcGIS and crop modeling.
