Career Summary

Mr. Ahmed has obtained a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Dhaka in 2009. Mr. Ahmed has 8 years of experience in the field of Water resources engineering and management, environmental management, natural resources management, and evaluation and monitoring activities. Extensively involved in Water Management Improvement Project (WMIP) and Coastal Embankment Improvement Project (CEIP) where he carried out field visits to coastal polders and BWDB projects in different regions, environmental screening, report writing on water resources management for sustainable development, inventory the base condition of project infrastructures, prepare O&M plan, discuss intervention plan with concern officials and stakeholders, involved in IEE and EIA studies comprehensively. He has conducted training on environmental management and monitoring for WMOs of different projects under WMIP.  Also involved in EIA study of cluster projects of BWDB under CCTF. Besides, Mr. Ahmed has carried out of the ESIA study including water resources management for river dredging projects of BWDB and 24 navigation routes of BIWTA. Moreover, he was also involved in the Water modelling and EIA studies of different urban residential projects outside Dhaka city.  He has also carried out field investigations in connection with the studies in a different region of Bangladesh. Experienced in planning, M&E surveys, data collecting and analyzing, and report preparation for monitoring, and evaluation.
