Mr. Kanak has been working with the Remote Sensing team as well as multidisciplinary team of CEGIS for 13 years as a Remote Sensing/GIS analyst in the Satellite Image referencing, Image mosaic, Image interpretation, Image Classification, Ground Truthing, Accuracy Assessment, GIS Analysis, UAV orthophoto image capture and processing. Mr. Kanak was involved as a Team Leader/ Project Leader/ Remote Sensing Expert/ GIS Expert in several development projects namely, “DTM Generation, City Clutter Mapping with geodatabase, Extracting Features from images, Image processing, Enhancement of images, 3D City Modelling” under Grameen Phone Map Project; “Banglalink BTS Location Information Collection, Layout Designing and Mapping” under Banglalink Geomarketing Survey Project; “Extracting features from satellite images, collection of primary and secondary data from available public or private sources and stakeholders for the study area, Survey through field investigations in Haor areas” under Haor Master Plan Project; “Work as a project Leader (PL) to conduct route survey and EIA study, topographic and levelling data collection for prepared route alignment drawing and land acquisition plan of the Gas Transmission Pipeline” under Bogura-Rangpur-Saidpur Gas Transmission Pipeline Route Survey and EIA Study Project of Gas Transmission Company Limited; “Conduct detailed route survey and collection of topographic and levelling survey data for prepared route alignment drawing and Land Acquisition Plan” under Shahabajpur, Bhola to Barishal Gas Transmission Pipeline Route Survey of GTCL Services.
