Md. Aminur Roshid joined CEGIS in July 2018 as an Agriculture Specialist. His previous work experiences include working as a Monitoring and Evaluation Expert in World Bank founded project (MFSP) of DG Food, as an Agronomist with DAE projects (ADIP, SAIP, and SCDP) of MoA, and as a Senior Field Coordinator with International Fertilizer Development Centre (IFDC) founded by USID. His experiences include working with food and nutrition security, Natural Resources Management and livelihood issues, disaster risk reduction, emergency preparedness, and response, climate change adaptation, value addition and entrepreneurship development, post-harvest management of high-value crops, Food policy research, food storage system storage loss and storage cost analysis, Capacity development, EIA Study, Impact assessment, etc. Ability to work independently, project planning, coordination, finance management, team management, project monitoring and staff supervision, training workshop & seminar facilitation. Good understanding of human rights, poverty, social inclusion, gender, good governance, and conflict-sensitive program management. Attach with national and international organizations in the technical team, cooperate with GO & NGO officials, data management, and report writing. Prior to engaging himself in an Agriculture career, also have good knowledge about different application packages viz. MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint..
