Handing over of Flood Management Plan to Paro Dzongkhag

Flood disasters are among the most common climate induced hazard in Bhutan and people have lost lives, properties, agricultural products during such disaster. The Flood Engineering and Management Division (FEMD) was instituted by the Government under Department of Engineering Services, MoWHS in the year 2012 with the mandate to professionalize flood management in the Country.
