Ms. Hossain has been working in CEGIS since July 2020. She has been involved in different projects related to climate change and disaster risk reduction activities. She was involved in preparing Sector Action Plan for Environment and Climate Change (SAPECC) sector, particularly in the identification of private-sector mechanisms and financing mechanisms for the ECC sector. She is also involved in projects like Formulation of the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) in Bangladesh funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), preparing training modules for the project titled Training on CCA mainstreaming and Bankable Project Development Skills, Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment for 9 LIUPC Cities, Update and Enhancing NDC, Preparation of Storm Water Management for Thimphu Thromde. She has also performed meteorological and aero-meteorological analysis for the project titled Environmental, Physical, and Social Data Collection for High Power Research Reactor. She has also attended a workshop on Gender and Climate Finance organized by UNDP’s Governance of Climate Change Finance (GCCF) Team and Women Organization for Change in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management (WOCAN). Within this working span, she has gained skills in map preparation in ArcGIS, report writing, and data analysis in excel.
