Career Summary

Ms Anushila Mazumder has about 12 years of experience in studies related to climate change and disaster management, community based flood early warning system development and dissemination, Community Risk Assessment (CRA), user friendly community based agro-meteorological forecasting system development in Bangladesh, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), feasibility study. Experienced in project management, conducting training programmes, workshops, developing training module (e.g. Training Module on Flood Risk Management for the community people, farmers training module on weather impact on crop). Having vast experience in developing project related questionnaires/checklists, collecting primary and secondary data and analysis of the collected data, preparing reports and project proposals. Engaged as an ecologist in different IEE/EIA studies of residential areas. Her main tasks was to prepare ecological baseline of the project study area, find out the status of plants and wildlife, ecosystem functionalities and addressing existing sensitivity and impacts on biological resources. The another main tasks were to predict the probable impacts on plants and wildlife due to implementation of the project interventions, suggest environmental management plan negative impacts of the project and enhancement plan for positive impacts and  prepare ecological monitoring plan future environmental auditing
