CEGIS extends welcome to the Secretary, MOWR and New Chairperson of BoT

The management of CEGIS warmly welcomed Dr. Zafar Ahmed Khan, Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources (MOWR) & Chairperson, CEGIS Board of Trustees (BoT) at CEGIS’ premises on 9th April 2014. During the visit, the hon’ble secretary met the CEGIS Management Committee and was briefed by the Executive Director on the different activities and achievements as well as the future plans of the organisation. The presentation highlighted CEGIS’s capacity and its level of excellence. Later, the new Chairperson of the BoT was given a tour of the facilities at the different Divisions of CEGIS. Dr. Zafar Ahmed Khan showed keen interest in the different activities and projects of the organisation. CEGIS’ contribution to the solution of various national water related problems drew his special attention. He expressed his appreciation of the role that CEGIS is playing in the country’s development and in the international arena.
